The Samajwadi Party today said that it will not field any candidate against Sonia and Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha polls even if any agreement on alliance with the Congress was not reached.
Addressing an election rally for the November 15 assembly by-poll here, SP general secretary Amar Singh said, “Samajwadi Party wants to fight the coming Lok Sabha elections with Congress. And even if no electoral agreement is reached, SP will not field any candidate either against Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi.”

Taking a dig at the BSP and BJP, Singh said it is due to the growing ‘political bonhomie’ between the parties that the BJP did not field any candidate for the assembly by-poll.
