CHENNAI, July 31: A series of programmes in several Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil Bengali and Urdu will be telecast live on BBC World Service's 'South Asian Language Broadcasts' on August 14-15 to mark the 50 years of independence in India and Pakistan. The programme includes the first first joint Hindi-Urdu news on the anniverary celebration in the two countries, and the programme 'Freedom at Midnight', Vijay Rana's reconstruction of August 14-15, 1947 through politicians, historians and the public.
