CHANDIGARH, MARCH 18: Senior Superintendent of Police C. S. R. Reddy has ordered a preliminary inquiry to find out why investigations could not be completed in a corruption case against a former official of Haryana Development Financial Corporation, U. R. Chadha.
Official sources said that the inquiry has been ordered to fix responsibility. The case was registered in 1997 and the court had asked the police to complete the investigations within six months. Deputy Superintendent of Police Daya Nand is the investigating officer in the case.
