NEW DELHI, September 22: Hosts St Francis De Sales School prevailed over Holy Cross School by a solitary goal to enter the semi-final of Fr Peter Mermier memorial invitational football tournament at the school ground here today. The solitary goal was scored by Divesh Kumar in the first half of the game.The team won both the league matches in Pool A. In the biginning of the game, St Francis School boys dominated Holy Cross School very well. In the second clash in pool B, the match ended in a draw as both the teams - CRPF School (Rohini) and Sahoday School - were locked 1-1 in their last league match. Both the teams have been eliminated from the tournament due to low points and DPS (RK Puram) qualified for the semi-final.
