After alloting flats of Kanshiram Nagar Transit Hostel, the Estate Department has housed many employees in RDA Flats in Hirapur, but the shortage continues as they were crammed into the community hall of the Transit Hostel without adequate facilities. Some employees who have not been alloted flats in the Transit Hostel are presently housed in a dharamshala on Station Road. The Chief Secratary has directed concerned officers to daily visit Transit Hostel to sort out problems.
