A 14-year-old boy has allegedly been kidnapped from a village in Bihar’s Patna district, police said.
Shivshanker Kumar, a class eight student, was kidnapped while he was on his way to Kerodarpur from Kevlatand village, police said.
Kailash Prasad, Kumar’s father, a railway employee, has filed a FIR with the Fatua police station.
Prasad in the FIR had alleged that the kidnappers demanded a ransom of Rs five lakh for Kumar’s safe release.
Police said the investigations were on.
