MUMBAI, SEPT 25: Sundaram Newton Asset Management Company, a joint venture between Sundaram Finance and Newton Group, UK (now part of the Mellon Bank Corporation of the USA), has plans to launch an open-ended tax saver scheme followed by a liquid fund by the end of the current year.

Sundaram Bond Saver, an open-ended income scheme, has announced an income distribution of Rs 0.60 per unit. The previous income distributions have been 7 per cent in November 1998 and 6.5 per cent in May 1999. Another fund – Sundaram Growth Fund – has been a consistent performer since its launch.
