Union Minister of State Prithviraj Chavan may now better empathise with those at the receiving end of eunuchs in Delhi. At a luncheon hosted by AICC Media Cell chairperson Veerappa Moily, some eunuchs forced their way into the premises looking for “Baba” (party leaders denied suggestions later that they meant Rahul Baba, who had come there). As ill luck would have it, they sought out Chavan to demand money. An embarrassed Chavan scampered towards his car but they followed him and blocked the car gate. The hapless minister dug into his pocket and handed over a fistful of Rs 100 notes to the eunuchs to get rid of them.
