NEW DELHI, November 22: Tarun Gill of St Stephen’s College outplayed his mentor and trainer B I Singh in four games in the inter-complex squash competition of DDA annual sports gala here today. This was the second time in a week Tarun had beaten B I Singh. Earlier, he had won the Siri Fort complex final.
For the first time, a golf tournament was held at the mini golf course at Siri Fort sports complex. Dilip Kumar emerged the winner. Somaya Mittal, S B Saini and Kuldip Bhatia finished in that order.
Squash tourney
Delhi Open Squash Raquets Association will conduct the Delhi State championship at the Delhi Gymkhana Club from November 30 to December 4.
Madhav excels
Excellent spell by man of the match Madhav Chaturvedi and useful knocks by Vikas Tanwar and Raghav Narula helped Gyan Bharti School (Saket) overwhelmed St Columba’s School by seven wickets and enter the final of the fourth Bon Ton Inter-School tournament.
