TATA Teleservices on Wednesday announced a slew of new tariff packages for fixed line services as well as for WLL services under which the call charges would range from 55 paise to Re 1, irrespective of distance.

The new tariffs, to be applicable from Thursday for both WLL and fixed line services, has four packages for WLL mobile service and six for fixed line, a company statement said here.

Under Plan 295, the company will charge 80 paise for calls made from its WLL network to another WLL and cellular network while it will cost Re 1 for a call to a fixed line phone.

The plan has a rental of Rs 200 with a fee of Rs 95 and free local minutes of up to 125 minutes. Under Plan 450, a call from its TTSL’s WLL network to other WLL and cellular networks will cost 70 paise and to a fixed line will cost 90 paise with Rs 200 as rental and Rs 250 as fee in addition to 400 minutes of free local calls. In Plan 599, calls from its WLL networks to other CDMA and cellular networks will cost 60 paise each while to a fixed line it will cost 80 paise while rental will be Rs 200 with a fee of Rs 399 and free local minutes of 700.

In the WLL mobile plan 999, the charges from its network to another WLL as well as mobile network would be 55 paise per minute across the country while from WLL to any fixed line call, it will cost 75 paise. In addition to the long distance deposit, under this plan, rental will be Rs 200 with plan fee Rs 799.
