TATA Teleservices on Thursday announced std tariffs for its landline phones, as well as for limited mobile service users where an intercircle call rates from wll to a fixed line would vary from 80 paise per minute to Rs 4 per minute, depending upon the distance slabs.

As per the new rates, a call from WLL to landline phones within a circle (intra-circle) would cost 40 paise per minute (for distance up to 50 kilometre) to Rs 2.40 (for distance over 500 kilometre).

WLL-landline STD tariffs for calls between circles (inter-circle) is pegged at 80 paise per minute (for distance up to 50 kilometre) and Rs 4 (for distance above 500 kilometre).

In the case of WLL-WLL STD, for intra-circle calls, the rates ranges from 80 paise per minute for calls up to 50 kilometre to Rs 2.10 per minute (for a distance over 500 kilometre).

Similarly, inter-circle calls from one WLL to another WLL phone varies from a low of Rs 1.20 per minute for up to 50 kilometre and Rs 1.90 per minute for calls over 500 kilometre.

In the case of WLL calling a cellphone outside the circle, the applicable rates would be Rs 1.20 per minute for calls up to 50 kilometre and Rs 1.90 for calls over 500 kilometre.

‘‘All of the company’s NLD tariffs are in line with TRAI’s guidelines for IUC regime,’’ a company statement said, adding that all the tariffs have been filed with the regulator by TTSL and are subject to the regulator’s approval.
