Taxi driver duped of car

CHANDIGARH, Nov 18: A taxi-driver from Meham in district Rohtak, who came to the City with a passenger was allegedly duped of his car by the passenger this evening.

Police sources said that Satyavan Singh, in his complaint to police said that he came to the City this afternoon. "After doing some work in a bank in Sector 17, he brought me to Sector 26 for lunch. He then told me that he had forgotten an expensive pager in Sector 17 and needed to get it back," Singh told the police. The passenger left a suitcase with the car driver saying that there was a lot of cash in it and sped away in the car (HR15 2592).
