
HYDERABAD, Jan 19: Barring the Narasaraopet candidate, all the 16 members in the dissolved Lok Sabha were renominated by the Telugu Desam Party, which released its first list of 21 candidates today. The fate of Kota Saidaiah, who won from Narasaraopet last time, will be decided in a couple of days by the time the second list is released. Party president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu released the list to mediapersons here.
Of the five others, K E Krishnamurthy will take on Congress stalwart and sitting MP Kotla Vijayabhaskar Reddy in Kurnool and Kandula Rajamohan Reddy will fight with another Congress sitting MP YS Rajasekhar Reddy from Cuddapah.
While G Ganga Reddy will contest from Nizamabad, Satrucharla Vijayarama Raju, former Congress MP, will contest the polls from Parvatipuram (ST) and Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy from Ongole.
Krishnamurthy and Vijayarama Raju entered the TDP only recently and Ganga Reddy won from Nizamabad in 1991 on the TDP ticket and defected to the Congress later.
