TDP to take action against two of its MPs for voting for UPA

Telugu Desam Party would initiate disciplinary action against two of its MPs - D K Adikeshavulu Naidu and M Jagannadham - who had defied the party line and voted in favour of UPA Government during the trust vote in Parliament.

The Telugu Desam Party would initiate disciplinary action against two of its MPs – D K Adikeshavulu Naidu and M Jagannadham – who had defied the party line and voted in favour of UPA Government during the trust vote in Parliament.

The TDP, which has five MPs in Lok Sabha, received a jolt with two of its members switching loyalties and supporting the Congress-led Government in the confidence motion voting on Wednesday night.

“This is a serious betrayal and breach of trust. We will take it seriously and initiate disciplinary action against the erring members,” the party’s leader in Parliament K Yerran Naidu said when contacted on Wednesday.
