Tension after trishul diksha in Fatehpur Sikri

The Bajrang Dal’s ‘‘Trishul Diksha’’ programme held at Fatehpur Sikri on Saturday has sparked communal tension in the predominantly Muslim neighbourhood in and around the fort.

The outfit not only organised its trident distribution programme at Panch Mahal but also called for the demolition of such structures, including the tomb of Sufi saint Sheikh Salim Chisti, which have been allegedly constructed on the ruins of Hindu temples.
