Simran Joshi

Dr VK Sharma, Head of the Department, Dermatology, AIIMS, says:

Eczema is not caused by stress. It may however aggravate if one is under stress and depression. Eczema can either be caused by some outside agent — organic or inorganic coming in contact with body. For example, it could be the body’s reaction to a plant or a chemical. It can be constitutional (atopic) — wherein body is tuned in such a way that it overreacts with various things.
