1999 World Championships: Won the 100m gold and long jump bronze.

2000 Sydney Olympics: Three gold medals and two bronze medals (Gold: 100m, 200m and 4×400 relay. Bronze: 4×100, long jump)

2001 World Championships: Jones was upset in the 100 meter sprint by Ukrainian Zhanna Pintusevick Block. Jones, however, got the gold in both 200m and 4x100m.

2004 Athens Olympics: Disappointing fifth in long jump. Took part in the 4x100m relay, where they miss a baton pass in the final race.

On July8, 2006: Jones won the 100 meter dash at Gaz de France with a 10.93. It was her fastest time in almost four years.

On July 11, 2006: Jones improved her time in the Rome Golden league with a 10.91, but was beaten to 2nd place by Jamaica’s Sherone Simpson who clocked 10.87.
