Sunit Pai and Vivek Bhanushali specialise in Gujarati, Maharashtrian and Goan cuisine, besides Konkani, Continental, Punjabi and Chinese food. They also bring everything from food and cutlery to manpower, and even do the decor to match the theme. Cost per head ranges from Rs 200 to Rs 2,000, depending on the food you choose.

Percy’s Platter

Though he caters for Chinese, Tandoori and Mughlai, Percy’s speciality is Parsi food. He takes care of everything from providing crockery to waiters. And if the party is on a grand scale — for over 200 people — Percy gives the place a special touch with his ice carvings.

The cuisine here is `Muslim’, which means you get exotic stuff like Arabian cutlets, khicchda, bohri thalas and more. Ask for Saifuddin and he will come up with innovative food like whole-stuffed bakra.The waiters will also be provided by Saif.

As the name suggests, you will get nothing but Thai cuisine here. Run by a mother-son team of Yai and Piyopoj, all the recipes date back to Yai’s grandmother’s kitchen who was chef to the Thai Royal family.

Kavilal’s Convenience Foods

Kavita and Lal Daswani specialise in making a variety of kebabs and rolls that they assure stays fresh for 15 days. All you need to do is take them out of the freezer and warm them on a tava. Kavita / Lal: 6323363.

`Only South Indian food’ is what Muthukrishnan offers and as a South Indian you can be sure that he knows what he is doing. Except for the lights and chairs he brings along everything, including his own stove.
