COLOMBO, July 24: Sachin Tendulkar was his typical restrained self in all the excitement around following his team's entry into the final of the Pepsi Asia Cup final today. The India skipper said that the fact they they beat ``difficult odds'' to enter the final has put them ``in the right frame of mind''. However, he qualified that by saying that ``one has to win consistently'' to measure up to expectations. He admitted that winning the toss was a big relief, but he gave credit to his players for coming up with a big team effort. After a long time, Tendulkar has looked relaxed and that was reflected when a question was posed to him as to what went in his mind when the players had to scamper back into the pavilion because of rain during the Bangladesh innings.``I just asked Sidhu what to expect from the weather. He said it will clear in 10 minutes,'' Tendulkar replied amid laughter. He added that it was very reassuring as he always trusts the Punjab opener in such circumstances. He cautioned mediamen against inflated expectations for the next match as he pointed out that ``Sri Lanka will not be easy and they have a very good track record at Khettarama (the venue of the final).''Gordon Greenidge, the West Indian coach of the Bangladesh side, did not conceal his disappointment. He said: ``Our batsmen showed a lack of committment, our bowlers did not bowl a consistent line and our fielders were below par.''He said that his side is now exposed to a different attitude, technique and top class bowlers and are finding the transition difficult. ``It has taken Sri Lanka 15 years to be where they are at the moment. Hopefully, we will take a much lesser time as we do not have that kind of luxury,'' implying that Bangladesh have already got One-Day International status and they will have to get into the international bracket quickly. He took a dig at the umpiring in today's match, though he would not enumerate, saying that it was evident for all on the television.Greenidge, of course, cannot be faulted as there were several umpiring errors. Saurav Ganguly was denied a palpable caught behind wicket, Akram Khan was declared caught when the bowler was appealing for lbw and twice the umpires gave seven-ball overs.Zaheer Abbas disappointed: Pakistan Manager Zaheer Abbas said he was ``extremely disappointed.''``I find it difficult to accept the fact that we are out. We are out without playing a match. That seems unfair. I think what is needed is that each team should play the others twice to make it more meaningful and ensure that team do not feel the pinch because of losses through rain.''
