CHANDIGARH, Jan 27: A woman accused of making threatening calls to a lady PCS officer and her family here was remanded to police custody till January 29 by the UT Judicial Magistrate (Ist Class) K.C. Garg today. Kamaljeet Kaur, alias Kamla, a resident of Jalandhar, was booked after the telecom department placed the PCS officer’s telephone under surveillance on her husband, P.S. Khera’s complaint.

The family resides in Sector 19. The public prosecutor, P.K. Kundra said the complainant was also threatened by Kamla during her visit to the former’s house in May last year.
