SURAT, APRIL 11: A 35-year-old woman and her two minor daughters aged between five and six were killed on the spot due to electrocution at a village farm in Pariya village near here on Monday, rural police said on Tuesday.

Her seven-year old son was seriously injured and was undergoing treatment at a hospital at nearby Sayan township, police said.

The Gujarat Electricity Board field squad had thrown live electric wires in the farm. As the victims were passing through the farm, they got entrapped in the wires, police added.
