New Delhi, Nov 28: Vijay Kumar took home his biggest pay cheque of Rs 4.53 lakh and a gleaming Honda City 1.5 Exi car, valued at over Rs. 7 lakh, when he produced a stunning final round of six-under 66 to win the Honda-Siel PGA Championship today.

On the final day of the biggest event on the Wills Sport Indian Golf Tour, Vijay aggregated eight-under 280 and beat overnight leader Arjun Singh (Delhi) by a margin of two strokes. Arjun, on the lookout for his fourth major title on the tour, played two-under 70 to aggregate six-under 282.

Shiv Prakash (Kanpur) finished third at two-under 286, Feroz Ali was fourth at one-under 287, while Mukesh Kumar (Mhow) was fifth at level-par 288. This was Vijay’s second `major’ title on the tour after the 1995 Mahindra Invitational in Mumbai, and he looks certain to top the Indian Tour Order of Merit for the third year running.
