TIRUNELVELI, July 29: The Tamil Nadu Government is to take up Phase II of the DANIDA-assisted livestock development project in five districts of the State. The scheme, to be undertaken at a cost of Rs 27 crore, would be spread over five years. The Animal Husbandry Department will also implement a World Bank-aided scheme for cattle breeding.
