CHENNAI, July 10: The Tamil Nadu government has ordered an inquiry into the alleged racket in which quality paper was being siphoned out of the Government Press by terming it as ‘waste’. During a surprise inspection by Minister for Printing, Pongalur N Palanisamy, at the Press in Chennai recently, high quality paper worth Rs 20 lakhs were found dumped as ‘waste’. Two senior officials in charge of the Press are facing disciplinary action on this account.
