MUMBAI, NOV 18: About 200 companies from 15 countries will take part at the “Tooltech 99” India’s largest cutting tool and tooling system exhibition which opens at the Godrej industrial complex here tomorrow.

The five-day exhibition, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Indian Machine Tools Manufacturers Association (IMTMA) for the third time, features new technological innovations in cutting tools, tooling systems, production aids and accessories, low-cost machine automation, attachments for machine tools and other machine tools accessories.

According to a CII statement, major Indian companies like Widia (India), Sadvik Asia, L&T, Lakshmi Machines Works, Grindwell Norton, Addison and Corborundum Universal will display their developments along with leading companies from Australia, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Switzerland, UK and US.

Two concurrent shows, “METROLOGY 99” and “Computer aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) 99” featuring contemporary technologies in testing, measuring, on-line gauging equipment and latest applications in CAD/CAM will the added attraction at the exhibition, the release added.
