NEW DELHI, Jan 22: With three days to go for the military and cultural extravaganza to unfold on Rajpath, tomorrow is the day for the full dress rehearsal of the event. The parade will start at Vijay Chowk, go down Rajpath, India Gate, Kasturba Gansdhi Marg, Connaught Circus, Minto Road, Bhav Bhuti Marg, Ajmeri Gate, Shradhanand Marg, Khari Baoli, Chandni Chowk and end at the Red Fort ground. So, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. these sections will be blocked.Rajapth will be closed between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. Kasturba Gandhi Marg will be blocked between 10 a.m. and 11.30 a.m., Connaught Circus between 10.30 a.m. and noon, Ajmeri Gate between 11 a.m. and 12.30 p.m., Chandni Chowk between 11.30 and 1 p.m.Bus routes have also been modified and motorists are advised to follow the traffic maps that were printed in newspapers two days back.`Don't throw out eatables' as govt fears bird hitsThe government today appealed to the people of Delhi and its surrounding areas not to throw eatables and garbage in the open as it attracts birds, which can prove dangerous to helicopters and aircraft taking part in the Republic-Day flypast.``The birds are dangerous not only to low-flying aircraft but also to pilots and the general public. People are requested to report to the nearest Air Force or police station if they find any carcass in the open,'' an official release said.
