BANGALORE, July 1: According to a study conducted by International Energy Initiative, an NGO which works for the cause of efficient generation and use of power for sustainable development, the poor transmission and distribution of power by the Karnataka Electricity Board accounts for its losses. The KEB had earlier claimed that the subsidy on energy consumed by irrigation pumps was the cause for its losses.
