December 26: The three-nation one-day international cricket contest next summer will open with the needle match between host India and Australia at Kochi on April 1.
The Australians accepted the final itenerary in which Zimbabwe is the third participant. The Aussies, who arrive here February 21 will play the lung opener, a three-day fixture, against Ranji champions Mumbai at the Brabourne Stadium from February 24.
They are also scheduled to play two more first class matches at Vishakhapatnam (Feb 28 to Mar 2) and against Cricket Board President’s XI at Jamshedpur (March 19 to 21) against India "A" team.
