CHENNAI, August 20: Two deaths suspected to be due to cholera have been reported in the City, giving the lie to the Corporation’s claim that the outbreak of the disease in the city is a minor one. Nearly 70 new cases of acute diarrhoea have been admitted to nthe Communicable Diseases Hospital here. The Corporation is yet to take up a meaningful campaign against the disease.
