Two jawans commit suicide in Srinagar

Two paramilitary forces’ jawans allegedly committed suicide inside their camps in Kupwara and Pulwama districts, official sources said on Thursday. Constable (driver) Navjeet Singh of 81st Battalion of BSF was found dead with a bullet mark on his forehead inside Nathnoosa camp in Kupwara district of north Kashmir on Wednesday night, the sources said.
They said Singh had apparently committed suicide by shooting himself from his service rifle. However, head constable Gurdeep, who claimed to be the lone witness to the suicide, was taken into custody by the BSF for questioning, the sources said.
