Two kids admit to 3-yr-old’s murder

The death of a child, earlier suspected to be a case of human sacrifice, turned out to be a case of murder. The boy, Lovepreet alias Labha, was murdered by two of his ‘friends’ aged 10 and 11, who were arrested by the Nawanshahr police on Friday.

The accused admitted to killing the boy in a fit of rage. They attacked him with broken glass and then ripped open his stomach and left him to bleed to death after tying his legs with telephone wire and wool. One of the accused is speech-impaired. SP (Headquarters) Jagtar Singh Kainth said the three-year-old boy was found murdered on September 24.
