
MUMBAI, July 30: Seventeen-year-old nITESH uBHANE SLAMMED IN TWO LONG RANGE missiles in Sutarwar’s comprehensive win in the Mumbai District Football Association Harwood league match today.
And Apparao Chiman fired in the final salvo into the already dented Tata Electric defence to complete the 3-0 rout.
Sutarwar now have four points from three matches while Tata Electric have six from four matches.

In the 61st minute, Samir Jada skillfully outran two defenders and crossed over to Ubhane through Lynn Boothello. Nobody saw the stunning 25-yard pile driver till it had sunk into the net.
Six minutes later, Tata goalkeeper Chatterjee made a shoddy collection of a substitute Manoj Kanojia floater. Chiman, who was lurking in the danger are grabbed the opportunity to seal the fate of the Tata outfit.
The Sutarwar forward line worked in excellent tandem to set up many scoring opportunities. Often, their fleet-footed strikers would leave the weary Tata defence in a shambles, but not all resulted in goals.
Joseph D’Souza’s fine run in the 36th minute was wasted when the Sutarwar striker hit over the bar after evading three Tata defenders. And two minutes from time, the irrepressible Ubhane went alone from the half-line but lost control when he had just the goalkeeper to beat.
Tata had their chances as well, even if Sutarwar were clearly the dominant team. Left-half CT Fernandes hit the bar from ten yards in the 14th minute and in the 59th minute, Raju Singh too could only find the woodwork.
