NOV 6: The Madhya Pradesh Assembly on Monday witnessed uproarious scenes during the question hour over the issue of reinstatement of about 23,000 daily wagers sacked by the State Government in February last.

Later, replying to a query by Narendra Bidthare (BJP), the Forest Minister, Harvansh Singh said the Government was reviewing the issue of reinstatement of sacked daily wagers.
This triggered off slogan shouting from Opposition BJP members, who even entered the well of the House pressing for reinstatement of sacked workers.
Parulekar continued to shout slogans from her seat.
The BJP members said that when the newly-formed Chhattisgarh State, carved out of Madhya Pradesh last week, had decided to reinstate the sacked workers then why Madhya Pradesh could not take a similar decision when financial conditions of the both the states was more or less similar.
Leader of the Opposition, Dr G S Shejwar said Chief Minister Digvijay Singh should make a statement in this regard but the latter refused to comment.
Even as the BJP members continued to shout slogans from the well of the House, the Speaker announced that the question hour was over.
