Apex School, Delhi knocked defending champions Govt HS School, Aizwal (Mizoram) out of the 42nd Subroto Cup Football Tournament.

In the last Group-I league match at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Saturday, the local outfit drubbed Sri Ramkrishan Sarda Asram, Salem (Tamil Nadu) 15-0 to qualify for the quarter-finals on a better goal average after being tied on four points from two games with Mizoram.

Biswanath Sarkar (4), KP Kabui (6), Rajkumar Pal (4), Subroto Baidya (1) all joined the goal-riot to push the holders to second spot.
