Taking a dig at the BJP leadership in Himachal Pradesh for its infighting that cost the party Assembly elections, Prime Minister A.B. Vajpayee today said the state unit should now look forward to forgetting the defeat and working together for the future. He had a luncheon meeting with the BJP Legislature Party here.
‘‘Main to aapke darshan karne ke liye aaya hoon (I have come to see you all),’’ Vajpayee remarked sarcastically when state BJP chief Jai Kishan Sharma asked for his guidance. ‘‘Beet gayi so baat gayi. Ab aage ke liye mehnat karein. Mil kar kaam karein. Agar mil kar chalte to tasveer hi kuchh aur hoti (What’s done is done. Now work hard. Had you all been united, it would have been a different story altogether),’’
