CHENNAI, August 20: The Tamil Nadu Government has earmarked Rs 64 lakh for the publication of textbooks in Tamil by the State’s Universities. The Tamil Nadu Council for Higher Education is also in favour of more colleges seeking autonomy, according to its member-secretary, S Muthukumaran. He was delivering the special address on the occasion of the golden jubilee celebrations of the Stell Maris College here.
