What was it like taking orders from a woman director (Farah Khan)?
I have no qualms in taking orders from a woman. In fact, I’ve been brought up in a family where four women have played a crucial role—my sisters and my mother. Actually, I am far more diligent under a woman.

Considering that you’ve done only one film, you’ve amassed quite a fan following.
I can’t judge that for myself. I just hope I am doing the right thing. But my friends do tell me I have many fans. It feels nice.

Hey, you are the first person to actually come out and say so. I am working a lot on my body and am so glad that the hard work is being appreciated.

You are not the kind to go on a signing spree, are you?
I need to be inspired. I’m a little bit of a tantrum guy. I won’t sign if something is not right. Unfortunately, people don’t take it too well.

What kind of a relationship do you share with your cousin Fardeen Khan?
Fardeen and me are like two peas in a pod. We are partners in crime, honesty and valour. Boy, that almost sounds like a film tagline.

Are you doing a film with Fardeen?
Yep, I am. It’s called Maidaan. Puneet Sira is directing it while Nitin Manmohan is presenting it. It’s a great script.

Feroz Khan made Jaanasheen for Fardeen. What is Sanjay Khan making for Zayed?
He is planning something really big, but we don’t want to let it out right now. It’s a solo hero project and it’s quite unconventionally conventional. He won’t be acting in it though. Dad will be a pure businessman and just make money out of it.
