BANGALORE, Jan 12: Karnataka Lok Shakti president Jeevraj Alva, holding former prime minister Deve Gowda and his sons responsible for the attack on Union Minister Ramkrishna Hegde’s residence in the city on Monday, said that if Gowda and his supporters did not mend their ways Lok Shakthi may have to take similar action against them.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, Alva said that Gowda, his sons and their supporters’ vandalism against Hegde was only a sign of frustration of failing to get Chief Minister J H Patel replaced. He demanded the dismissal of Gowda, his sons Kumaraswamy and Revanna from the Janata Dal.

He said the party will hold protest rallies and stage dharnas in all talukas of the state on January 16 in protest against the action of Gowda and his supporters.

He said he would brief Patel when he returns from Delhi and demand suitable action against those involved in the incident.
