An investigating officer in the 2G spectrum scam told a city court on Wednesday that former telecom minister and main accused A Raja had refused the lie-detector test. DSP Rajesh Chahal,the first investigating officer to be examined,has been part of the CBI team probing the scam since October 2010. Raja was arrested by the CBI February 2,2011 and was released on bail May 2012. Besides Raja,DMK MP Kanimozhi,former telecom secretary Siddharth Behura,Rajas former secretary R K Chandolia,Swan Telecom promoters Shahid Usman Balwa and Vinod Goenka,Unitech Ltd MD Sanjay Chandra,three top executives of Reliance Group,Gautam Doshi,Surendra Pipara and Hari Nair,are facing trial.
