The Congress on Monday accused the Madhya Pradesh Lokayukta of targeting only lower-rung government employees and dared him to raid ministers.
The challenge came in response to the Shivraj Singh Chouhan governments proposed silent protest against the Centre for not clearing its anti-graft legislation.
After a series of raids by the Lokayukta Police on government employees, mostly peons, storekeepers and sub-engineers,the BJP government said it could have seized the tainted properties and converted them into schools, like in Bihar,if the legislation had got the Presidents assent.
