Veteran actress Alaka Athalay recently held the muhurat of her new Marathi film titled Agnipariksha with a song recording at Shree Swami Samarth Studio in Goregaon,Mumbai. Veteran music composer Ashok Patki recorded four songs for the film in the voices of Bela Shende,Sadhana Sargam,Vaishali Samant and Urmila Dhanagar. Directed by Anil Surve,the movie stars Alaka Athalay,Sanjay Narvekar,Mohan Joshi,Sanjay Khapre,Vijay Chavan,Surekha Kudachi and Savita Malpekar. Written by Shradda Bhange,it has screenplay and dialogues by Shriniwas Bhanage,cinematography by Sameer Athalay,editing by Vasant Kubal,choreography by Dilip Mistry and action by Ravi Shinde. The film is scheduled to go on floors at Karad and surrounding locations. Being produced by Alaka Athalay and Shilpa Masurekar under the banner of Shubhkashmi Chitra,the movie tackles the issue of dowry harassment.
