The Karbonn Mobiles 17th Annual Star Screen Award for Best Film went to Udaan.

The verdict is out and the ecstatic winners of the Karbonn Mobiles 17th Annual Star Screen Awards share their sentiments.

The Karbonn Mobiles 17th Annual Star Screen Award for Best Film went to Udaan. It was received by director Vikramaditya Motwane and Siddharth Roy Kapoor of UTV Pictures.

I am pleasantly surprised with the award as I didnt expect it. The only award we were sure of was the one for Ayaan Boradia. I am glad that Screen went against the norms and Udaan bagged so many awards.

I believe that if one does things with honesty and puts in hard work,its going to connect with the audience. The script was written 10 years ago and we didnt change a thing because we didnt want to pollute it. Getting the Best Film Award is music to our ears. I thank Indian Express and Screen.
