A Bench dismissed the appeal of Srivastava who had challenged his conviction for gunning down customs officer L D Arora in Allahabad.

The SC on Tuesday upheld the conviction and life imprisonment for gangster Babloo Srivastava for killing a customs officer 17 years ago.

A Bench dismissed the appeal of Srivastava who had challenged his conviction for gunning down customs officer L D Arora in Allahabad.

A Kanpur TADA court had convicted him for the murder in September 2008. Two other accused in the case were booked under TADA for the murder which took place on March 24,1993 at the instance of Dawood Ibrahim.
