India’s second-largest two-wheeler maker Bajaj Auto today reported an 18 per cent jump in sales in September to 4,17,686 units.
It had sold 3,52,769 units in the corresponding month last year,the Pune-based company said in a statement here.
Two-wheeler sales stood at 3,71,208 units in the reporting month as against 3,14,515 last September,translating into a 8 percent jump,while commercial vehicle sales rose to 46,478 units as against 38,254 units,logging in a 21 percent growth.
Exports grew by 39 percent to 1,41,913 units from 1,01,960 units,it said.
