Amitabh Bachchan’s recent remarks supporting the Mumbai Indians team in the Indian Premier League had Mumbai socialite circles buzzing. “I am supporting the Mumbai Indians because we come from there. It’s a tough task to choose one particular team because all parts of the country love you. But because we are from Mumbai,we will support them,” Bachchan was reported to have said. What had the tongues wagging was that Bachchan had supported a team backed by Mukesh Ambani when he is considered to be in the Anil Ambani camp,and the two brothers have little love lost.
