Glenmark gets FDA nod for oral contraceptive

New Delhi: Glenmark Pharmaceuticals on Monday said its US subsidiary Glenmark Generics has received the US Food and Drugs Administration approval to market its generic oral contraceptives orgestimate and Ethinyl Estradiol tablets in the American market. The product by Glenmark is a generic version of Ortho Tri-Cyclen tablets by Ortho McNeil Janssen Pharmaceuticals.

Gitanjali Gems acquires Giantti Italia SRL
