LONDON: Englands Ministry of Defence is investigating claims that a soldier allegedly sliced fingers off a dead Taliban militant to keep as souvenirs. It is understood the allegations relate to a soldier from the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders (an infantry battalion) who was serving in Afghanistan,the BBC reported.

Arrest warrant issued for Khaleda Zias son
DHAKA: A court has issued an arrest warrant for former prime minister Khaleda Zias son for allegedly transferring $2.73 million in bribes overseas. The court indicted Zias oldest son Tarique Rahman in absentia Monday. Rahman travelled to London for medical treatment in 2008 and refused to return home for the trial.
