British Airways unveils offer for travellers

British Airways aims to corner a major chunk of India-UK traffic.

Aiming to corner a major chunk of India-UK traffic,British Airways today announced an attractive limited-period offer of two-night free stay in London on every return ticket.

The return ticket on any class has to be bought from today till September 30 and the travel has to be carried out till January 31,2013,a British Airways statement said.

The offer includes stay in London hotels like the 3-star Royal National,4-star Holiday Inn Kensington Forum,4-star Hilton London Metropole and the 5-star Sofitel at London Heathrow’s Terminal 5,it said.

The premier British carrier is also offering shopping discounts at various stores,along with these tickets which have to be booked on the airline’s website.

“The offer presents a great opportunity to our customers in India,” Christopher Fordyce,BA’s Regional Commercial Manager (South Asia),was quoted as saying in the statement.
