Bulandshahr CMS shifted,ward boy sacked

Bulandshahr Chief Medical Superintendent Dr Shishir Kumar was chargesheeted and removed from the district hospital for allowing a ward boy to put stitches on a patient’s wound earlier this week

Bulandshahr Chief Medical Superintendent Dr Shishir Kumar was chargesheeted and removed from the district hospital on Thursday for allowing a ward boy to put stitches on a patient’s wound earlier this week.

The action was taken after Director General of Family Welfare Dr Chironjee Lal submitted his inquiry report. “The CMS has been transferred to Lucknow and chargesheeted. However,all patients treated by the ward boy are doing well,as per the DG report,” said Sanjay Agarwal,Principal Secretary of Health and Family Welfare. Agarwal also said the ward boy in question has been suspended.

On Tuesday,the ward boy and other class IV employees were allegedly caught on camera while giving injections and stitches to patients.
