But when our very own Koena Mitra tried the same look,she got it all wrong by teaming the gold chain with too much body glitter and a shimmering outfit. Always make sure to wear a minimalist outfit with a gold chain,especially if the chain is chunky. Too much bling looks obscene, says designer Rina Dhaka.
A chunky gold chain can also be worn as a belt. For a formal look,gold belts look sultry and elegant on well fitted black clothes,whether a little black dress or a fitted black top with a pair of slim fit pants of the same colour, says Dhaka. A gold chain can also be worn with a casual outfit jeans with a chic plain top to help dress up the look.
